Workshop Overview

Many people do not like to be “controlled.” They don’t like to be told what to do and feel boxed in when faced with specific standards. Few people like to be criticized or corrected, yet corrective feedback is what controls often come down to. Supervisors have this important responsibility to ensure that employees’ behavior and performance align with the organization’s values and rules, and their performance are linked to organizational performance.

This 2-hour session aims to equip supervisors to carry out 2 important control responsibilities; maintaining discipline and aligning performance.  In this session, participants will learn techniques on creating a compliant culture through positive disciplining and apply the performance management process in motivating employees to align their performance with the organization’s goals.
