Trainer, Consultant, Writer, Editor, dabbling in Event Styling and Management. Gege Sugue has been a Senior Training Consultant at ExeQServe since 2007. She contributes to the BPO Industry by training university professors as a Training Consultant for IBPAP. She writes for local and international readers, develops and conducts training programs for corporate and non-profit organizations, and provides consulting services in Organizational Development, Marketing, and Communication.
Geraldine graduated from the University of the Philippines in Diliman and pursued a Master’s degree in Communication at the De La Salle University – Manila, where she also taught Organizational Communication courses as a part-time faculty member of the Communication Department.
Before embarking on a career devoted to training and consulting, Geraldine was active inline functions when she worked full-time for companies like Levi Strauss & Co., Motivation Asia, and De La Salle University. She was a managing partner for Frontliners, a retail training and consulting company. As a consultant, she developed promotional materials for the sustainable development and education projects of Govida Studios. And for Thanh Bac Indochina, spearheaded the launch of the Levi’s brand in Vietnam.
Her competencies also include public speaking, something she has enjoyed since her early career days at Levi Strauss and company where she presented products and ideas to Filipino and foreign audiences. She further honed her public speaking skills as her career evolved to include teaching, training, and consulting. She started her training career at Levis as part of her Retail Marketing functions but only started concentrating on training facilitation in 2003 when she became an external trainer for Sykes. She has since trained hundreds of learners from companies like Intel, Toyota, Globe Telecoms, Bayer, and Lafarge. Her off-work activities also include public speaking as she is the President of the Butter & Toast Toastmasters Club and past Area Governor of Toastmasters International District 75.
Of all her activities, she enjoys training the most because not only does she help others learn, but she also gets to indulge in a lifelong process of learning. She believes that life is enriched when we learn something new every day. In every workshop, she hopes to help her learners develop skills, attitudes, and confidence to enable them to go higher in their careers and personal lives.
