Peter Senge described Personal Mastery as “the discipline of personal growth and learning” (The Fifth Discipline, p.141.)

And why not? Leadership Starts with Leading the Self. The self is the ground zero of everyone’s leadership journey. A lot of the reasons why people fail to lead come from their failure to model leadership behaviors. And behaviors come from our ability to manage ourselves. ExeQserve offers this Personal Mastery Training in Manila.

Leaders who demonstrate personal mastery have special sense of purpose. They can accurately assess current situations, recognize how their mental model affects their understanding and attitude towards these situations. They can muster the will to direct their action towards the achievement of their goals and respond productively to people and other variables in front of them. They are curious and humble enough to inquire and confident enough to advocate ideas and actions.

At the core of personal mastery is what we call emotional intelligence or EQ. It starts with a self-awareness that grows into self-regulation, being socially aware that leads to better relationship management.

This online training series aims to equip individuals who are keen on leveling up their capacity to manage their personal resources and work more effectively with others.  These sessions will allow you to examine your personal mastery strengths and opportunities for improvement and create a personal development action plan.

Personal Leadership all starts with deepening self-awareness. Managing one’s emotion means being able to recognize the emotion at play and being able to express it in a way that’s productive or constructive.  Being self-aware means recognizing where the emotion coming from, or what factors are involved, like values, aspiration, or personal tendencies.  Without being able to recognize all these bits and pieces that compose who you are, it is easy to go out of control and ruin relationships and opportunities.
