This is an 8-hour training course intended to develop the mindset of Completed Staff Work (CSW) among staff. Its main goal is to change how employees understand their work by reframing the value proposition of doing CSW. Instead of adopting a compliance mindset where CSW is seen as a form-filling exercise or an increase in workload, participants are empowered to see that by doing CSW, they create value for the organization by saving time for their principals. Additionally, CSW enables them to find a wider market for their ideas which becomes a source of professional pride owing to the high quality of their work.
To effectively learn CSW, the course presents attendees with structured meeting preparation, problem-solving, and communication techniques for written reports, slide decks, and data visualization. By using this CSW toolkit, staffers can return to their workplace with an arsenal of methodologies they can use in reframing problems, presenting solutions, and conducting effective presentations that create value by saving time for their principals.
The modules consist of 4 Key Learning Areas which can be offered in the following modalities:
- 2 sessions, 4 hours per session (recommended especially if done virtually)
- 1 session for 8 hours
