It’s Exeqeserve’s third time to facilitate a leadership culture building workshop for Amherst Laboratories Inc! This is for the new batch of Employees’ Council leaders who are expected to use their influence to inspire changes in the organization. The 1-day program was based on the Leadership Challenge by Kouzes and Posner.
The participants learned that they need to demonstrate positive behaviors and align themselves to the organization’s values in order to inspire and become a catalyst for organizational productivity. They enjoyed completing different group activities that were meant to equip them with the necessary tools to deliver lasting results.
We also gave the participants the opportunity to assess their personal values. This has helped them realize which of their values are aligned with the company’s values. It also helped them appreciate how they should model the way in demonstrating alignment.
Through one of the modules, they were taught that leaders engage others with their vision. The participants were asked to come up with their project vision statements and strategies on how they can communicate it to different stakeholders. It is expected that they will carry out these strategies after the workshop.
