“When I discover who I am, I’ll be free.” – Ralph Ellison, Invisible Man
Organizational Behavior is the collective behavior of each employee. Their individual behavior affects the dynamics of the group. Everyone’s role contributes to the organizational performance, either directly or indirectly.
Regional Human Rights Commission – ARMM (RHRC-ARMM) sent 63 of their employees to ExeQserve’s Organizational Behavior & Relationship Management facilitated by Mr. Ed Ebreo.
Unity of purpose and clarity of norms are some of the characteristics of high performing organizations. They achieve whatever they pursue because of their ability to unite and work in a way that reflects the values and ideologies of the organization.
Achieving this is easier said than done. Everyday, people need to deal with diverse mindsets, mixed expectations, crossed communication that impact group dynamics and overall, Organizational Behavior.
To move towards optimal performance, it helps to build better self awareness in organizational members so they can recognize how their own mindsets and behaviors impact dynamics and performance. There is also a need to establish clear norms to improve collaboration, conflict management, coordination and cooperation. All of these help in directing the organization members’ attention to what matters: Organizational Performance.
“If you could get all the people in the organization rowing in the same direction,
you could dominate any industry, in any market, against any competition, at any time.”
– Patrick Lencioni
ExeQserve Consultants designed this highly interactive program that helped members of the RHRC-ARMM to appreciate how their behaviors impact on organizational behavior, and help them point out to the mindsets, values and attitudes to contribute to positive organizational result.
