Last January, we had the privilege of conducting several transformative workshops designed and facilitated by Mr. Edwin Ebreo, our lead trainer. These sessions brought together teams eager to grow, collaborate, and apply new skills to real-world challenges. True to our mission of creating impactful and engaging learning experiences, we blended practical frameworks with gamified activities to make learning both meaningful and enjoyable.
Here’s a closer look at some of our January workshop highlights:
- Fundamentals of Leadership and Management
- Logical, Critical, and Creative Thinking
- Strengthening Emotional Intelligence
Fundamentals of Leadership and Management

Activity Spotlight: Helium Ring Challenge – Building Trust and Team Dynamics
This workshop focused on developing the skills and mindset necessary to lead teams effectively. Participants learned to shift their mindset from worker to leader and explore what it means to lead with purpose and clarity. Drawing from John Maxwell’s 5 Levels of Leadership and Situational Leadership Theory, they were able to identify their current leadership level and style. They also identified key management tools like planning, organizing, leading, and controlling (P.O.L.C.), which are essential for driving performance and organizational success.
One of the key takeaways was how to use communication as a leadership tool—not just to give instructions but to align actions with organizational values and inspire their teams. Exercises on performance improvement planning and team-building activities enabled participants to put theory into practice, helping them understand how to build empowered and cohesive teams.
Logical, Critical, and Creative Thinking Workshop

Activity Spotlight: Card Sorting Challenge – Unlocking Strategic Thinking
This workshop aimed to sharpen participants’ logical reasoning, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills. Using structured thinking models like inductive and deductive reasoning, participants explored techniques to break down complex problems and propose well-thought-out solutions.
One highlight was the Moon Landing Dilemma, where participants had to apply critical thinking principles and make decisions under challenging circumstances. Guided by the 4 Hats of Creative Problem Solving, they discovered how to approach problems from different perspectives and adopt the qualities of critical thinkers to improve workplace systems.
Creativity was a key focus, with participants learning to enhance their creative thinking skills using methods like SCAMPER. By identifying barriers to creativity and applying techniques to overcome them, they left the workshop with a deeper understanding of how to turn ideas into innovation.
Strengthening Emotional Intelligence

Activity Spotlight: Action Tendencies – Recognizing Emotional Triggers and Responses
In this workshop, participants explored the importance of understanding and managing emotions to build stronger workplace relationships. Using Daniel Goleman’s Emotional Intelligence Model, they developed core EQ skills, including self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, and relationship management.
One of the highlights was the Action Tendencies Activity, where participants identified specific actions or situations that triggered different emotions. This exercise helped them recognize emotional patterns and understand how these responses affect their decision-making and interactions with others.
Participants learned how to interpret and regulate their emotions, using tools such as emotional mapping and emotional journaling to reflect on their experiences. They also practiced how to balance optimism and pessimism, building a more resilient mindset when faced with challenges. By mastering these emotional skills and applying the GROW Model for conflict resolution, they left the session better equipped to navigate workplace dynamics and enhance team collaboration.
The Edwin Ebreo Experience

Mr. Edwin Ebreo introduced the learning session norms to ensure the best experience during each meeting.
Known for his dynamic facilitation style, Sir Ed is a master at making complex concepts easy to understand. His sessions are not just about acquiring knowledge but about personal transformation and practical application. With his engaging energy, he turns every learning moment into an opportunity for self-reflection and growth.
Participants were constantly encouraged to share insights, reflect on their experiences, and apply their newfound skills. The result was a series of workshops that didn’t just inform—they inspired.
Here are some feedback from our learners:
Throughout these workshops, one powerful insight became clear: By cultivating a safe and rich learning environment where teams can explore their growth opportunities and work together toward success, great leaders can create great leaders.
When leaders provide the right space for growth—encouraging open dialogue, collaboration, and continuous improvement—they inspire others to reach their full potential. This ripple effect strengthens not just individuals but entire teams and organizations.
As we move forward in 2025, we’re excited to see how these lessons will drive growth, creativity, and stronger connections within the organizations we serve. We remain committed to supporting leaders and teams on their learning journeys with customized, practical workshops designed for real-world application.
